Your data stays yours.
tofa is built privacy first. For the closed beta we only collect what we need to reach you and to decide what to build next. We do not sell your data, run ads, or track you around the web.

The short version
If you read one part, read this. We collect your email so we can tell you when a beta spot opens. Anything else you share is optional and only helps us prioritise. We never sell your data or use it for advertising, the site has no tracking cookies, and you can ask us to delete everything at any time.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist:
- Your email address. This is the only required field.
- Optional answers, if you choose to share them: which devices you will watch on, what you run today, how big your library is, and how you heard about us.
- A little context saved with your signup: the page you arrived from, your browser description, and which homepage headline you were shown. This helps us see what is working.
To keep the form free of spam, our content and security provider runs a quick automated check that processes your IP address and a one-time challenge to confirm you are human. The site also remembers your light or dark theme in your own browser. That preference never leaves your device, and we do not use cookies to follow you around.
Why we collect it
Three reasons, nothing more: to confirm you are on the list, to email you when access opens, and to see which platforms and features people want most so we build the right things first. The optional answers shape our roadmap. They are never required, and never shared.
Who can see it
Your information lives on tofa's own servers. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for advertising. To run the waitlist we rely on two service providers and nothing more: one that delivers and protects the website (and runs the human check above), and one that delivers the emails we send you. Each only handles what it needs to do its job. We are happy to name them if you ask.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist entry until the beta wraps up or you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. If you go on to use tofa for real, your account is covered by its own terms at that point.
Your choices
You are always in control. Ask us for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete your email and anything you shared, and we will. Every email we send includes a clear way to opt out.
Changes
If we change how any of this works in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the date at the top, and let waitlist members know when it matters.
