tofa opens its port on your router for you and keeps it open, so remote access works without you touching any network settings. When a direct connection is possible, and it usually is, your stream runs at full speed straight from your hardware to your device. When a direct path cannot be made, tofa relays the stream instead, at full speed for supporters.
